Announced as a multiplayer experience, many have speculated that Resident Evil Re: Verse will be released alongside Resident Evil Village, but it looks like that title will not be available with the new chapter of the series next week (7/5 ). Resident Evil Re: Verse, as reported on the official website of Resident Evil, will be released "in the summer of 2021".
Note that Capcom, in its statements to the videogameschronicle, stated that it had not actually announced a release date for Resident Evil Re: Verse, although the game will be free for anyone who owns Resident Evil Village.
Also, a few days ago an Open Beta Test was conducted for Resident Evil Re: Verse, and the feedback received could lead Capcom to make a decision on this "delay", so that it can apply various changes or new features based on data from Open Beta.
Until we know the release date of Resident Evil Re: Verse, we can try the new demo of Resident Evil Village in early May or wait for the release of the full game for Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC (with free next-gen upgrade) on May 7.
