The next title in the Wonder Boy series, "Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World", will be available later this year. ININ Games -has taken on the role of publisher-, announced the above, with a new trailer, along with more details on the different versions of the title.
Note that the title will be a remaster version of Wonder Boy IV, led by Ryuichi Nishizawa - creator of the Wonder Boy series - with the support of several other members of the original development team. Watching the new trailer, we can see that in addition to the upgraded visual field, the new version of the title contains a new soundtrack.
In terms of the different versions of the title, we will have the standard edition for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, the Collector's Edition that will come with a game map, the title soundtrack on two CDs, an artbook, a Pepelogoo ball and other goodies. . Finally we will have the Mega Collector’s Edition with all the previous ones along with Asha and Pepelogoo 18cm figures, pins, stickers and more in a collector’s box.
Finally, the original Monster World IV will be included in all retail versions of Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World. Monster World IV will be included in the cartridge for the Nintendo Switch, while for the PlayStation 4 it will be available for download using a password.
Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World is expected to be released for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC in the second quarter of 2021.
