Personal information of 16,000 people on the air.

Capcom recently fell victim to a cyber attack, which revealed the company's plans for future releases. However, it seems that the attack also extracted a lot of personal data. Capcom has revealed that the personal information of nine people, former and current employees of the company, had been leaked. The leaks include three names and signatures, three items related to human resources information, two passport information and one (1) address.

It seems, however, that the damage from the attack is much more extensive than originally estimated. In today's announcement, Capcom confirms that a total of 16,406 information items of former and current employees have been leaked. These numbers correspond to leaks:

names, telephone numbers, addresses and emails of 3,248 professional associates of the company,

email addresses, names and information related to the Human Resources Department concerning 9,164 former employees and

information stored in the database of the Human Resources Department and concerning 3,994 current employees.

This number raises the number of spy victims who were (or are) part of the company's business to 16,415, while 390,000 different data relating to the company's customers have also been intercepted. Capcom confirms that no credit card information has been leaked, and is ready to offer all possible assistance and cooperation to those directly affected by this attack.
