Acquisition of Next Level Games by Nintendo

In an official announcement, Nintendo confirmed the acquisition of Canadian Next Level Games, a studio with which it has worked in the past to create important - but also less important titles.

The acquisition, according to the announcement, is carried out with the aim of ensuring the availability of development resources of Next Level Games, but also the gradual improvement in the development times and the overall quality of the studio titles. Through the agreement, Next Level Games's people will be able to communicate more closely with Nintendo Development, as well as relocate staff where possible.

Next Level Games has collaborated with several publishers in the field, including Activision (Transformers: Cybertron Adventures), EA (NFL Hitz Pro) and Sega (Captain America: Super Soldier). Her partnership with Nintendo has offered Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Metroid Prime: Federation Force, Punch Out !!, as well as the Mario Strikers series games.
